SUBMISSION REQUIREMENT
Before submitting any CD's for broadcasting consideration please check requirements and contact Marvin Rosen with information about the CD (to avoid duplicates) and his mailing address at: requestformarvin@gmail.com
Only new music recordings will be considered and lesser known repertoire from before 1750.
No consideration will be given for any recordings containing standard repertoire.
Non-commercial recordings are accepted as long they have good quality sound and are on CD (no MP3 and DVD's)
If you are sending a private/non-commercial recording:
You must have the name of the composer, title, and timing marked on the CD
all information including performers, short composer bio, brief notes about work, website and e-mail address should fit in the CD tray.
CD should be placed in a plastic CD case to prevent scratching. (CD with scratches will be discarded)
If you are not the owner of recording a broadcast release form should be attached. Can be hand written and have following information: Composer, name of work(s), performer(s), printed name of person(s) that is signing release form, signature(s), date and specify that this is for a broadcast on Classical Discoveries.
Do not send any additional materials like posters, booklet, promotional materials etc. and any additional information that one can obtain from a website, besides listed requirements for CD tray card.
Submitting a recording does not guarantee broadcast. If your private recording will be chosen for broadcast you will be notified by e-mail
Unused CD's will be not returned to sender, except if prepaid envelope is attached.
