Classical Discoveries Goes To Washington - Presidential and other important Election SpecialsEvery four years, the last program before the presidential election is devoted to music inspired by current, past and some candidates running for presidents, works employing texts by politicians, compositions inspired by political and social events in USA history as well as global events connected to the USA. If the program falls on Halloween "Ghosts of the Past" Classical Discoveries will try to haunt some nasty corrupted politician. Some works might include key words used in election campaigns, not necessarily intended for this purpose by composers, but intended by the host to add a bit of humor as much as it is possible to this sometimes uplifting, sometimes appropriately grim program.
Election 2020 - GOES TO WASHINGTON 2020 - DOOMSDAY EDITION |
Some works presented on this program may not have been intended to be used in a political context. They were used by the host of this program only to express personal feelings. |
