On the first Autumn show of this year Classical Discoveries will present music of Jewish inspiration in observance of the Jewish High Holy Days in a program titled: SHEPHERD OF ISRAEL The program will include: Terezin Ghetto Requiem by Czech Composer Sylvie Bodorova (1954- ), Call of the Shofar by American Composer Matthew H. Fields (1961- ), Tefila Lemoshe, Op. 63 by German Composer, Peter Kiesewetter (1945- ), Concerto Ebraico by Hungarian Composer, Gyorgy Lang (1908-1976), Bershit (Genesis) by Israeli Composer, Noam Sheriff (1935- ), Ahavah by American composer, Meira Warshauer (1949- ), plus music by Samuel Gardner, Jeff Hamburg, Sid Robinovitch and a number of Marvin's favorite works. |
