CLASSICAL DISCOVERIES GOES TO WASHINGTON
DOOMSDAY IS COMING
THE HALLOWEEN MID-TERM EDITION

Wednesday, October 31, 2018 from 5:00 till 11:00am - Part 1
and
Thursday, November 01, 2018, from 9:00 till 11:00am - Part 2

Every four years, the last program before the presidential election is devoted to music inspired by current, past and some candidates running for president, works employing texts by politicians, compositions inspired by political and social events in USA history as well as global events connected to the USA.
Since this year Mid-term Election is so important, Classical Discoveries presents “Doomsday Special” to remind listeners to vote especially this year when you and your children, grandchildren and the whole world future is at stake!
Yes! Twelve years to the beginning of The End of Our Planet.
If we do not take any action this November and not hold elected officials accountable for their reckless action or inaction: Doomsday is Coming.
Some works will bringing to attention to the poisoning of our water, destruction of our environment, weather events due to Global Warming. Program might include key words used in election campaigns, not necessarily intended for this purpose by composers, but intended by the host to add a bit of humor as much as it is possible to this sometimes uplifting, sometimes appropriately grim program.
Check out some other playlists of programs devoted to Election specials and others devoted to social and environmental issues that are connected to the current show theme:
