CLASSICAL DISCOVERIES GOES TO WASHINGTON
2020 DOOMSDAY EDITION

Wednesday, October 28, 2020 from 7:00 till 10:00am

Every four years, the last program before the presidential election is devoted to music inspired by current, past and some candidates running for president, works employing texts by politicians, compositions inspired by political and social events in USA history as well as global events connected to the USA. In 2018 an additional Mid-term Election was presented to bring attention to time left to save our planet. Unfortunately, it seems that no politician cares about saving our earth so Doomsday is still coming.
The program this Wednesday titled “Classical Discoveries Goes to Washington” will feature works influenced in one way or another by current events. You will also hear several more submitted selections composed during our current pandemic as well as a number of compositions of tranquility and spiritual beauty which hopefully will provide some peace during these troubled times.
These works of spirituality will be aired in memory of those who have passed away due to Covid-19.
Check out some other playlists of programs devoted to Election specials and others devoted to social and environmental issues that are connected to the current show theme:
